Robinsons alcohol pre-injection swabs are low cost high quality swabs, generally used above the intended injection site prior to injection, so as to reduce the bacterial load on the skin. Alcohol after getting partially absorbed by the skin evaporates by destroying the cell wall, ultimately killing harmful bacteria and germs.
It is advisable to use swabs in one direction to prevent further contamination by wiping back over the injected site and let the wiped area dry out naturally. These swabs are properly sealed in air tight boxes to prevent evaporation of alcohol.
